A Little More


The Tree House is a family run bistro/restaurant consisting of Gary, two sons Andy & Tom and Danielle their life long friend. When purchasing Tree House in May 2016 they inherited the existing staff, many who still work with them and are part of the family business.




Danielle started her restaurant career in 2011 when Andy employed her as a waitress in Crosby Lakeside. She quickly excelled through the ranks and became a full time supervisor. In more recent years, Danielle has worked in Fat Italian, Camp & Furnace and two fine dining restaurants in Australia where she spent 2013-2015. Danielle became the manger of Tree House in 2016 and after working every hour possible, she has now become a partner of  Tree House.



Tom started cooking at the age of 15 in Restaurant Bar and Grill working as a prep chef. He then became a starter chef at the Fat Italian when it originally opened in 2008, working alongside Andy. Tom then moved back to Bar and Grill at 18 where he gained a substantial amount of his knowledge. After placements at various restaurants including Malmaison Hotel and Hurlston Hall Golf Club he started working with us as sous chef in early 2019. Tom quickly progressed to Head chef in November 2019 and is now organising a great kitchen team consistently satisfying our customers with delicious food and new ideas.



Jamie has been with us since day 1 when we bought the restaurant in 2016, he progressed up to manager after working hard for 2 years as assistant manager. He has worked in bars and restaurants for over 8 years in Canada, London & Liverpool. He knows the Tree House customers and local area well and is a known charmer with many of their regulars!!
